My Storyboard
These are the first six shots that i have drawn. These relate to the shots that i am thinking of doing in my movie trailer. I will now explain each shot one by one.
The second shot is of the three girls walking down to woods path. This shot will show the girls walking all the way down the path and it will be an extreme long shot so that I will be able to fit everything in. This will enable the audience to see everything in the shot and tell a little bit of the story.
The third shot is of the girls just putting the tent up and picking some wood for the fire. This will also be a long shot but all the shots of the girls picking the wood up and also doing the tent will be quick shots to create tension.
The seventh shot is where one of the girls has gone into the woods to collect some more wood for the fire as they have ran out of fire wood. This will be a zoom shot as I will zoom in and out on the girl to show what she is doing but also that she is alone.
The first shot is of the girls getting ready in the bedroom to go camping. They are packing a lot of clothes and singing to music. This will be a happy scene to start of the horror movie. This is because I have noticed when doing my research it was very conventional to have a happy start of a horror movie. The shot will be a long shot to fit all the characters in the shot.

The fourth shot will be of an owl, trees, branches and of the leaves. This will also be quick shots. This will have a backing track behind it to make it more scary and add more effect to the shots. The quick shots will consists of extreme close ups and close ups to show the detail on many different things. This will tell the audience that there isn't any way that people will be able to save them because there is no one else there.
The fifth shot is a shadow on the man/killer as a shadow. This will only show a shadow of the killer because I don't want to give that much away. This will show the audience that there is something wrong and that something is going to happen. This will be a long shot that will zoom in on the killers face to give the shot a better effect.
The sixth shot is just of the knife that the killer is holding. This will give the audience information about what the killer is going to do but also how he is going to kill the girls if he does. This will be an extreme close up to show all the details of the knife but also a shot that the audience will be able to see what the weapon is.
This is the work that I did on paper of my storyboard. This makes up 12 shots in total. I will know go onto write about what the picture says and what is going to happen but also what shots I will be using in the last 6 shots. The seventh shot is where one of the girls has gone into the woods to collect some more wood for the fire as they have ran out of fire wood. This will be a zoom shot as I will zoom in and out on the girl to show what she is doing but also that she is alone.
The eighth shot in the story board is a replicate shot that was taking in the second shot. It shows the killer stalking this one girl and that he is in the bushes waiting for her. This will be a long shot so that you can see where the killer is and where the girl is.
The ninth shot is of the girl running away and the killer chasing after her. This will be an extremely long shot so that you will be able to see how far the killer is away from the girl but also where else the girl has to run.
In between the ninth shot and the tenth show there will be a loud scream from the girl as the screen goes black.
The tenth shot is of the girl lying on the flood dead with the killer standing next to her with a smug face on. This will go from a long shot to a close up by zooming in to show the details of the girl lying on the floor dead.
The eleventh is a close up of the knife the same as the sixth shot but this time is shows the left over blood on the knife from the girl. This will be an extreme close up of the knife so show every detail.
The final shot is of the girls sleeping in the tent. This shows that there is still two victims left. This will be a long shot so that the audience will be able to see the surroundings.
Throughout the movie trailer there will be a backing track but also a voicepver to give more effect to the trailer.
